Cash Flow Report
You can track sale and return transactions (including the disbursement status for each transaction) through the Cash Flow Report.
Having concrete data about your cash flow may prove to be useful in a number of scenarios.
Below are a few that may be familiar to you, and our suggestions on how you can leverage the report data to address each one:
- You’d like to find out which devices are the most popular.
Where to Look: Look under the “cart_items” column. Note that if you alphabetize this column, it will be sorted according to the first item listed on the lease.
- You’ve noticed that more customers have been inquiring about SmartPay since you changed the way you display collateral in the store. You’d like to check and see if the number of transactions has actually increased.
What to Do: Sort your report data by date, and look under the “transaction_type” column to see if the transaction is a sale or return.
You need to find out the the disbursement status for transactions you recently processed.
Where to Look: The “disbursement_status” column will indicate whether the transfer is in progress, or “Card Uncharged” if the VPC is uncharged. Remember, if you chose the ACH payment option, it takes 3-5 business days for the funds to reach your bank account.
You can download a report just for today, the past 7 days, the past 30 days, or for any month since you began offering SmartPay.
