We’ve been interviewing dealers to learn more about their experience with selling SmartPay. Sung-Hui Scarsella from El Paso, Texas had a few thoughts and tips to share with us.
How did you find out about SmartPay?
When I started to work for MetroPCS.
What has your experience been like with selling SmartPay? How has SmartPay helped you to increase sales?
It's been a great experience. It's a great tool to utilize to help increase our profit and to ensure customers leave happy with the device they have been wanting without having to pay it in full at the time of the sale.
What tips on selling SmartPay do you have for other dealers?
Make sure all reps are properly trained and understand the whole process to not only benefit themselves but to benefit the customer as well.
How did you get your start in the wireless business?
I was offered a new opportunity when I was living in AZ to relocate to El Paso so I could help the family business.
Have you run a SmartPay contest at your store before? If so, tell us more about it! What incentives did you offer?
We actually just started [last] month for stores to hit a certain number of [SmartPay transactions] in a month and [reach] their store quota. They will get a cash bonus to split between the whole team.
